In this course, students will learn the basics regarding the technical functionality of the core Oracle Financials Applications, including Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Payables, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Receivables and Oracle Assets, and will focus on identifying the flow of application information through the major tables and describe the resultant major business functions associated with these Applications.
This course will also teach the Applications Basics and will center on how to use the basic Applications tools, as well as describe concurrent processing, flexfields, alerts, and how Oracle Workflow Builder as a workflow management system, supports business process definition, automation, and integration.
Students will learn how to read and understand Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and Oracle Applications' Applications Technology ERDs.
This course will convey the benefits of using open interfaces and how they are utilized in Oracle Applications, the basic importing needs, and the Oracle Applications Open Interface Model while using Oracle General Ledger for this demonstration.
This course will address various development topics such as the Interface Options available within Oracle Applications, and the standards for using these interfaces.
Finally, the learner will be introduced to the different programs and components that Oracle Applications R11i is built upon. |
