While 11i Oracle Applications covers a broad range of business solutions, there are still times in which custom development needs to be done. When customization is called for, there are 2 solutions, Oracle Forms and OA Framework. The Oracle Forms development method is already covered in an existing course. With this course, custom developers will learn how Java, OA Framework, and 11i Oracle Applications come together to deliver web-based applications.

Demonstrations and hands-on practices assist in the learning process. By the end of the course, the student will be able to do the following:

	Set up an OA Framework development environment on a Microsoft Windows platform
	Create an OA Framework application that can select, insert, update, and delete data from an Oracle Applications instance
	Deploy a created OA Framework page to an Oracle Applications instance
	Personalize an existing OA Framework page
	Create a menu to navigate between OA Framework pages
