Learn how to connect IBM System Storage to i5/OS in this hands-on technical course. Understand the components and terminology of the IBM DS8000, DS6000, and DS4000. Learn to plan for and implement i5/OS capability to Initial Program Load (IPL) or boot from Storage Area Network (SAN). Configure external storage for i5/OS using the DS Storage Manager Graphical User Interface (GUI) and the DS Command Line Interface (DS CLI). Understand how to use the DS8000 and DS6000 Copy Services advanced functions in high availability (HA) or disaster recovery (DR) environments.
