This is a basic course for network administrators or other individuals who configure, use, and support TCP/IP and common network services on AIX Version 5.
 
prerequisites
 
 
You should complete:

AIX 5L System Administration I: Implementation (AU140) or (Q1314)
OR have working knowledge of the AIX environment and commands
have basic knowledge of general networking concepts
be able to work with System Management Interface Tool (SMIT) in configuring your system
be able to edit files with visual editor (vi)
understand file systems, directories, files, and their security
understand the concept of mounting file systems
