Learn the Cluster Systems Management (CSM) hardware and software components and the installation planning process. Complete a CSM Cluster installation and acquire the skills necessary to begin managing a CSM Cluster system using the Management Server (MS).

Learn to make informed decisions on CSM Cluster configuration choices and be able to maximize use of the MS as a single point of control.

Note: This course applies to the CSM for AIX product. While Linux nodes can be included in a CSM for AIX cluster, CSM for Linux is a separate product which is not covered in this course. The course provides lectures on managing Linux nodes in a mixed cluster (AIX and Linux nodes in a CSM for Linux cluster). An optional lab gives you the opportunity to add a Linux node to a CSM for AIX cluster.
