Learn about problem and performance issues that can occur within a distributed database environment. Learn how to start, use, and interpret output results from monitoring and problem determination tools available on the various platforms. Work with Windows clients, Windows and UNIX DB2 Connect servers, and DB2 for OS/390 servers. Both TCP/IP and Systems Network Architecture (SNA) network configurations are provided and addressed.

Experienced DB2 database administrators, system administrators, system engineers, system implementers, and communications specialists, who configure and implement Distributed Database or maintain and tune a DB2 Connect to DB2 for OS/390 system.

You should complete:

DB2 Connect DRDA Implementation with TCP/IP (CF601)
AND have working knowledge of DB2 Connect and DB2 for OS/390, experience with Windows NT or UNIX operating systems, and basic knowledge of SNA or TCP/IP networking concepts.
