The Sun Java System Application Server SE/EE 7 2004Q2: Deployment and Administration course provides students with details about the features and architecture of the Sun Java System Application Server 7 product line. Students should learn how to configure and operate the Sun Java System Application Server Standard Edition/Enterprise Edition (SE/EE) 7 2004Q2 (Application Server) in production environments, taking advantage of basic features such as load balancing, clustering, and fault tolerance, and other features such as Remote Method Invocation/Internet Inter-Orb Protocol (RMI/IIOP), load balancing and failover, stateful session bean (SFSB) failover, and Java Message Service (JMS) failover. Students should also learn to migrate applications from earlier versions of the Application Server. The course also provides students with the skills necessary to install, tune and troubleshoot the Application Server as a production platform.
