The Using LDAP as a Naming Service course provides students with a focused, hands-on solution for integrating a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directory server as a naming service within the Solaris 9 Operating System (OS). This course teaches students how to set up, install, structure, and configure naming services using Native LDAP and Sun ONE Directory Server. Students can also learn how to migrate information contained in the /etc directory to LDAP.
