Individuals who need to improve their productivity in the Linux shell environment, including Linux system administrators and individuals intending to write, modify, or maintain Linux shell scripts, and those who require an understanding of shell programming concepts, such as flow control, loops, and conditional testing.

You must complete:

AIX 5L Basics (AU130) or (Q1313) or
Linux Basics and Installation (LX020) or (QLX02)
or have equivalent knowledge of the Linux or AIX operating system. You should also complete:
Linux System Administration I: Implementation (LX030) or
Linux System Administration (QLX03)
or have equivalent AIX or Linux system administration skills. Programming background or knowledge is recommended.
