Learn how to install, deploy and perform the day to day administrative tasks for IBM WebSphere Portal Version 5.0 (V5). Portal administrators learn how to perform the installation of the base IBM Portal Server product, portlet deployment, configuring the portal, introducing authentication and authorization, creating and maintaining user and group profiling, portal page and document management, and many other administrative tasks. Develop the necessary skills for an administrator, architect, or developer to learn to successfully deploy WebSphere Portal.

This course does not cover programming of portlets. These skills can be obtained by attending the appropriate WebSphere Portal developer courses.
