This course teaches IBM WebSphere Process Server V6.0.2 administrators the skills they need to install and manage a clustered, highly available, failover-enabled IBM WebSphere Process Server environment.

IBM WebSphere Process Server uses the service integration bus (WebSphere Platform Messaging) for all asynchronous communications. To build a highly available architecture for IBM WebSphere Process Server, it is necessary to understand the service integration bus and take it into account in the design of the topology.

Learn how to install and administer IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Process Server V6 in a network deployment environment, and how to deploy and maintain applications containing Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) business processes in this environment. Students also learn about the service integration bus and the basics of configuring it with regard to high availability and workload management. The course outlines the components that are specific to IBM WebSphere Process Server (BPEL processes, human tasks, business rules, selectors, relationships, and so forth) and explains what impact these components have on the runtime environment.
