IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) manages information used in the selection, invocation, and governance of services. This course enables application developers to develop and integrate services using WSRR. Students discover how WSRR enables governance in a service-oriented architecture (SOA), and follow the SOA development life cycle as enforced by WSRR. Students also learn how to design mediations to dynamically select a service based on metadata supplied by WSRR.

This is a basic course designed for several types of application developers involved with WSRR implementation: application developers for both service consumers and producers, integration specialists, and application developers who will customize the functionality of WSRR. You should have a strong J2EE development background and familiarity with either IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB) or IBM WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) development.
