Learn how to perform common day-to-day tasks in IBM Rational ClearCase. Focus on the concepts and skills needed to successfully manage source code change in a development environment. This course provides basic training in ClearCase functionality for software developers, and is a prerequisite for individuals who plan on taking more advanced courses in the ClearCase curriculum. Hands-on labs run on a Red Hat Linux image. This environment is functionally equivalent to the other UNIX environments that this course supports. Both the GUI and command line interfaces are utilized in the lab exercises. Note: For private (on-site) offerings wanting to use a lab environment other than Red Hat Linux image, you will need to provide the hardware, software, and lab support; and pay for a one day setup by the instructor before the class begins.
