It includes several machine exercises utilizing various functions of RDA. This course is the classroom delivered version of the Instructor Led Online (ILO) Using Rational Data Architect - Instructor Led Online (3E820). This course replaces course number CF190.

  • Use the Eclipse interface to employ RDA functions

  • Given a logical model, use RDA to draw the visual diagram and store the model information

  • Show the RDA functionality for Web publishing and PDF reporting

  • Define the RDA capabilities to provide team support

  • Use the logical model documented with RDA to produce a physical model

 

  • Explain how to use RDA to create a physical model from existing DDL

  • Create and manage mapping models

  • Use the Connection and Database Explorer

  • Perform transformations using RDA

  • Evaluate the use of validation and dependency analysis as provided with RDA
