IBM Sales Center for WebSphere Commerce V6 is a new, separately orderable feature that leverages the catalog, order management, promotions, and merchandising capabilities of WebSphere Commerce to provide call center representatives with the functionality they need to service cross-channel customers. This course adds to the skills developed in IBM WebSphere Commerce V6 Hands-on Training for Developers (SW541), by providing in-depth skills in the customization and deployment of IBM Sales Center for WebSphere Commerce V6. This course provides lectures that discuss the unique architecture, features, and capabilities of IBM Sales Center, as well as the opportunity to practice IBM Sales Center customization and deployment skills through participation in realistic and challenging hands-on lab exercises. The course is designed to teach the skills and best practices that enable successful customization and deployment of IBM Sales Center for WebSphere Commerce V6. This course assumes prior knowledge and prerequisite skills in the areas of customization and deployment of the IBM WebSphere Commerce product. A strong background in J2EE development in Rational Application Developer (RAD), Eclipse plug-in development, and WebSphere Commerce customization is necessary for the successful completion of this course.
