    Prerequisites

     

    • Prerequisite Education (To be successful, you must have attended the following offerings or have the equivalent knowledge of:)
         -Crystal Reports XI R1/R2: Report Design I - Fundamentals of Report Design
         -Crystal Reports XI R1/R2: Report Design II - Business Reporting Solutions

    		 

    • Prerequisite Knowledge/Experience (In this course, you will be working intensively with Crystal Reports. To successfully understand the content and complete the activities, you must have:)
         -Knowledge of Windows conventions
         -Basic computer skills
         -Experience using a web browser
         -Basic database concepts
         -Knowledge of concepts taught in the Associate level course
         -Topics in Report Design III build on concepts from Report Design I and Report Design II, therefore it is importan tthat learners have a solid understanding of the concepts taught at that level.

    • Describing Report Processing
         -Describing multipass reporting
         -Using evaluation time functions
         -Using a dynamic array

    • Using Subreports
         -Defining subreports
         -Creating an unlinked subreport, a linked subreport, and an on-deman subreport
         -Using shared variables in a subreport
         -Using subreports to link 'unlinkable' data

    		 

    • Creating complex formulas
         -Creating complex formulas
         -Using loop control structures
         -Using arrays functions and loops
         -Using nested functions

    • Using Custom Functions
         -Creating custom functions
         -Using custom functions
         -Modifying custom functions
