Accelerate your Cisco learning experience with complimentary access to the IT Skills Video On-Demand Library, Introduction to Cybersecurity digital learning course, course recordings, IT Resource Library, and digital courseware.

In this comprehensive course, you will gain in-depth knowledge of BGP, the routing protocol that is one of the underlying foundations of the Internet. You will explore the theory of BGP, configuration of BGP on Cisco IOS routers, and detailed troubleshooting information.

Our labs provide you with the skills needed to configure and troubleshoot BGP networks in both enterprise and service provider environments. You'll also learn BGP network design issues and usage rules for various features as well as how to design and implement efficient, optimal, and trouble-free BGP networks.

Skills Gained

  • Implement the correct BGP configuration to allow your network to act as an ISP
  • Configure BGP with multiple BGP connections to other autonomous systems
  • Configure a provider network to behave as a transit autonomous system (AS)
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot basic BGP to enable inter-domain routing in a network scenario with multiple domains
  • Use BGP policy controls to influence the route selection process with minimal impact on BGP route processing in a network scenario where you must support connections to multiple ISPs
  • Configure BGP to connect the customer network to the Internet when multiple connections must be implemented
  • Enable route reflection and confederations as possible solutions to BGP scaling issues
  • Optimize the scalability of the BGP routing protocol in a typical network

Who Can Benefit

  • Internet service providers
  • Networking professionals who need to connect to ISPs
  • CCIE certification candidates
  • Individuals who need to understand how to configure Cisco routers for the BGP protocol

I am very satisfied with the course and teacher(Bill), and with the given option I will play with labs more after the class is over. Thank you

AZ-300 course experience was good . Eylem Uysal was very good, the best instructor and i had really good experience attending course and classes with Eylem.

Very clean, great cafeteria and well sorted, very kind staff. The bathrooms have to be expanded as they might get crowded sometimes

Very educational and enjoyable. Format was excellent; recommend to anyone who wants to get serious about learning AWS.

Joel Rosenblum is an excellent instructor. Would gladly take more courses he taught. Extremely knowledgeable with the content and real world experience with the tech. Gotcha issues provided by him to look for in tech were very useful. Very friendly and available during and after class time.

Tom Peters was very helpful initially and once voucher was confirmed valid. Tom P required Kyle Banas to approve my voucher that was earned for selling certain quantity of M365 licenses. Request confirmation voucher was valid less than 3 months from notification. Tom P CC'd Kyle B on email to confirm. Kyle to several weeks and MANY email requests without ever responding to request. Tom P eventually approved the voucher.

Content was excellent. Labs and lab environment was excellent.
