This course is designed to prepare students for the RICXI-150: Ruckus ICX Implementer Accreditation Exam.

ICX 150 concentrates on the duties performed by an network implementer within a typical network environment and focuses on the Ruckus ICX series of switches running FastIron 8.0.90. Features and functions covered in this course include, Ruckus technologies, hardware architecture, software upgrades, basic CLI configuration, layer 2 feature configuration along with device access and security.

Prerequisites

  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (802.1D, 802.1w, 802.1ad, OSPF, RIP, PIM, and VLANs).
  • Take the free Routing and Switching Protocols Pre-assessment
  • Networking industry protocols and standards are not covered in the ICX 150 course, if you receive a score lower than 75% on this self-assessment you’re required to take the free RSP 100 self-paced course
  • Familiarity with Ruckus Products and Technology.
  • Load Digital Course Book once received from Ruckus vendor (Gilmore) 2 days before the course.
  • Test ZOOM Live-Online Training Invite prior to start of class.
  • Use laptop with updated web browser that supports HTML5
  • 2 Monitors: Students should have 2 computer monitors for optimal participation in this course.
