What you need to know

Red Hat encourages all candidates for the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in PaaS exam to consider taking the OpenShift Enterprise Administration (DO280) course. Attendance in this class is not required, so one can choose to take just the exam. While attending Red Hat classes can be an important part of one's preparation to take this exam, attending class does not guarantee success on the exam. Previous experience, practice, and native aptitude are also important determinants of success. Many books and other resources on system administration for Red Hat's products are available. Red Hat does not officially endorse any as preparation guides for its exam. Nevertheless, you may find additional reading deepens understanding and can prove helpful.

Exam format

This exam is a performance-based evaluation of skills and knowledge required to configure and manage Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise. Candidates perform the configuration and administrative tasks necessary to deploy Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise and are evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria. Performance-based testing means that candidates must perform tasks similar to what they perform on the job.

This is the first time I have taken course on ExitCertified. It's pretty good and it's very easy to learn and the layout is nice. The labwork is also presented pretty well.

Excellent remote class environment and it was a good experience of remote learning.

There were minimal errors. The labs were great but the learning environment was difficult to navigate and certain components needed to stay on the screen that covered up parts of the presentation slides.

Kudos to EC, with excellent trainers and a highly satisfying learning experience. The environment was clean and welcoming, and the team was very accommodating.

Really nice and helpful staff! Office has well thought out interior design and plenty of snacks and drinks and coffee.
