Kubernetes Solutions for Organizations and Individuals
Containers are a great way to bundle and run applications that have revolutionized IT systems, making microservices architectures possible. In a production environment, managing these containers and ensuring that there is no downtime becomes difficult without a framework for orchestration. Kubernetes provided exactly that framework, but it does come with some complexity. That complexity means that Kubernetes skills are very much in demand for IT professionals, whether they are administrators, developers, or security practitioners.
What are the Benefits of Kubernetes
- Service discovery and load balancing
- Storage orchestration
- Automated rollouts and rollbacks
- Automatic bin packing
- Self-healing
- Secret and configuration management
How to Learn Kubernetes
ExitCertified has partnered with over 25 major technology brands, many of which understand the importance of Kubernetes in IT systems. Training comes in two major forms: generic Kubernetes courses that start with basic containerization and then get into the intricacies of Kubernetes and authorized content from cloud providers who have managed services to make Kubernetes easier to run in their cloud environments.
Typically, one would start with basic vendor-agnostic Kubernetes training provided by a member of the Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF). Mirantis is a popular cloud native consulting company that develops and maintains excellent Mirantis Containerization and Kubernetes training. If you’re preparing for a CNCF certification, take a course designed by the organization that helped create the CKA, CKAD, and CKS exams, The Linux Foundation Kubernetes training. Once you have the basics of Kubernetes mastered, you may consider using a service from your cloud provider to help manage Kubernetes. To learn more about the AWS EKS service, try Running Containers on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). To see how to use Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) then try Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies. If it’s Google Cloud’s GKE that you’ll be using then try Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine. In addition to these Kubernetes courses, ExitCertified offers containers and Kubernetes training from IBM, Red Hat, VMware and a variety of other partners. Use the search below to find a Kubernetes course to fit your needs.
