Hello everyone,
My name is Tarik Rukab. I'm one of the trainers at ExitCertified and an Axcel-instructor-led Training. Today, I would like to briefly discuss Co-Pilot along with a quick demonstration.
Microsoft Co-Pilot is artificial intelligence built into many Microsoft products. As we see right here, we can access it through Bing, Microsoft's search engine. We can also use a browser to bring up Co-Pilot at microsoft.com. This is a free version for everyday use. Depending on what you're trying to achieve, it could be technology-related, planning a dinner recipe, or planning a vacation.
With artificial intelligence, it's like talking to a human being. Instead of just doing a search, we interact with the artificial intelligence. Co-Pilot is also built into Microsoft 365, which requires additional licensing but helps with productivity and collaboration apps. It can calculate formulas in Excel and help build PowerPoint presentations.
We also have Windows Co-Pilot for everyday use, which is free and integrated into the Windows operating system.
Co-Pilot extends to many other Microsoft products in the ecosystem, including Co-Pilot for business, analytics, and security. Depending on what you're deploying in Azure and Microsoft 365, there may be associated costs. Co-Pilot for security extends security in Azure and Microsoft 365 Defender.
Co-Pilot for development is also available, expanding its use to programming and everyday productivity applications.
I anticipate Co-Pilot will continue to improve and become integrated into all Microsoft products.
Now, let's do a quick demo. There are two main URLs: copilot.microsoft.com for everyday use and security.copilot.microsoft.com for focusing on security.
In the demo, I'll use Co-Pilot to create a virtual machine scale set in Azure. This involves setting up auto-scaling and other configurations. Co-Pilot generates the PowerShell script quickly and accurately.
After pasting the details into Co-Pilot, it generates the PowerShell script for creating the virtual machine scale set. It prompts for manual inputs and provides additional information.
Co-Pilot's capabilities extend beyond generating scripts. It can assist with deployments and even convert scripts to other formats, such as JSON.
In conclusion, Co-Pilot streamlines tasks and reduces manual effort. Thank you for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the presentation.
