Read MoreThis one day hands on intensive course takes technology staff on a guided tour of the rapidly developing Serverless and FaaS space. Attendees will gain hands on experience with the most popular FaaS offering, AWS Lambda, but will also learn about Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions and IBM OpenWhisk, along with the architectures they promote. The course also examines developing serverless models and interoperability initiatives from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation's serverless working group. Each module is followed by a hands on lab where attendees will work with AWS Lambda to create a simple serverless application. Upon completion, attendees will have a clear understanding of the state of the art in serverless computing as well as hands on experience with the most prevalent serverless platform.
