This course covers several aspects of IBM Cloud Pak® for Data v4.6 and is primarily oriented towards Data Stewards and Data Analysts, covering aspects from the first part of the IBM AI Ladder (Collect and Organize).

Projects and adding assets from a catalog to a project, adding services to a project, adding assets from databases or files, and adding assets to a project to work with data such as:
Data quality definitions, and
Data quality rules
Catalogs and adding assets to a catalog, profiling data and adding governance artifacts to assets
Managing data quality with creating data quality definitions and data quality rules, building blocks for rule expressions and how to use variables as well as regular expressions for rule logic
Governance artifacts and how they relate, including:
Data protection rules, and
Reference data sets
Finding and viewing assets using governance artifacts and searching for governance artifacts

Understand Cloud Pak for Data basic architecture
Basic familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform

Understand how to Login to Cloud Pak for Data and create a project
Having attended the 6XL536G - IBM Cloud Pak for Data (V4.x) Foundations course, or equivalent experience
Classes begin promptly at 9:00 am, and typically end at 5:00 pm.
Does the course schedule include a Lunchbreak?
Lunch is normally an hour long and begins at noon. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice are available all day in the kitchen. Fruit, muffins and bagels are served each morning. There are numerous restaurants near each of our centers, and some popular ones are indicated on the Area Map in the Student Welcome Handbooks - these can be picked up in the lobby or requested from one of our ExitCertified staff.

What languages are used to deliver training?

Is the training too basic, or will you go deep into technology?

Lab access is dependent on the vendor and the type of training you sign up for. However, many of our top vendors will provide lab access to students to test and practice. The course description will specify lab access.

You will get access to the PDF of course books and guides, but access to the recording and slides will depend on the vendor and type of training you receive.
